At first, I was going to get another Sound Blaster 16 ASP, the same model I got for the 486 DOOM machine. But these did not fit the time period. I had read many good things about the Sound Blaster Live and I liked the color coded connectors on the back so I got a CT4830. I was concerned about DOS compatibility but discovered a delightful SB16 emulation setting.
